Women at work: A look at women in the workplace
If you thought women working in stereotypical “women’s roles” was a thing of the past, think again. The career that employed the most women in 2010 was that of secretary/administrative assistant. Also, while strides have been made in the last 30 years, women are still making less than men -- currently 81percent of what men bring home on a weekly basis.
All hope is not lost, however. More women are entering the workforce than ever before and are also taking the time to invest in advanced education.
